Sahara in blue chiffon

After 8 months of absence, I finally get back to my painting routine again. This is the painting of a young model Sahara. I painted her in one live model session and finished with photo reference. Although I felt rusty when painting her (due to lack of practice), I'm glad I did it.

When Chris said he would prefer to keep his sun glasses on during the live painting session, I felt a little disappointed since we all want to paint eyes in the realm of portrait painting. But it turned out to become a total different experience as I tried to capture Chris's free spirit with his eyes hid behind a pair of dark glasses.
